Instawork connects people with flexible job opportunities, but the experience made it harder than it should be to quickly spot the right roles and take action. This project focused on making job discovery simpler, improving visibility, and reducing friction throughout the application journey.

I worked directly with developers to define the scope and direction of the redesign. I was responsible for the full design process, from identifying issues in the job search experience to redesigning key flows and creating the final UI. I focused on simplifying how users browse and apply to jobs, while making sure everything stayed consistent and practical to implement.

The application flow was simplified to eliminate unnecessary steps and reduce mental effort. By making interactions more straightforward and predictable, users can move smoothly from browsing to applying without disruption.

Firstly, I refined their design system to create alignment across screens and reduce cognitive load. This allowed the booking flow to feel cohesive, predictable, and faster to complete. Some components we also used in their website.

Important job details are surfaced earlier, so users can evaluate opportunities at a glance instead of digging through multiple screens. This reduces hesitation and supports quicker, more confident choices.

Earnings are easy to scan at a glance, giving users a clear sense of what they’ve made, what’s pending, and what’s ready to withdraw. Payouts, bonuses, and payment status are organized in a way that reduces uncertainty and helps users stay on top of their income.

A clear and structured rewards system shows users their progress and performance. By tying incentives to reliability and activity, it encourages ongoing engagement while helping users understand how to unlock additional benefits.
